The Hammerhead Firewood Blocker is the only industrial grade tool on the market designed specifically for producing firewood “rounds” ready for a log splitter making it the perfect attachment for your woodlot. The Blocker incorporates a “shuttle grapple” system that can cut rounds from tree length logs up to 30 inches in diameter making it perfect for material that would not fit in a conventional firewood processor. It is designed to attach and run from a skid loader, excavator or log loader using our in cab controls which are included with purchase. Our unique patent pending design loads, clamps, holds and cuts the log with a hydraulically powered .404 chainsaw. The rounds can be cut from just a few inches for creating specialty sized firewood for backyard burning up to 24 inches long for wood boiler and fuelwood use. The Hammerhead Firewood Blocker makes extensive use of high strength steel and incorporates industrial grade components to ensure availability and a long service life.
