The Hammerhead Add-A-Saw kit is a great way to add a hydraulic chainsaw to an existing machine, including skid steer attachments, sawmills or most any application where you need the capability to cut logs. Our Add-A-Saw kit comes with everything you need to start cutting wood. You need to provide minimum of 14 GPM of hydraulic flow at 2,850 PSI (for best performance), a case drain & 12v. electrical to operate the included solenoid valve. The saw shield has the hydraulic cylinder incorporated into the shield so it's as simple as bolting the saw/shield in place, mounting the valve box and running the hoses & electrical.
