The Hammerhead GSR-42 Grapple Saw is designed to mount on 4-6 ton excavators, small logging forwarders, small log loaders or even on a skid steer with our optional skid steer boom.  This grapple saw is ideal for bucking logs up to 16" in diamter and can be used in land clearing, storm cleanup, sawmill yards, logging, and tree service jobs. You simply grasp the log in the grapple and push a button to activate the hydraulic saw.  After your cut is complete, push another button to return the saw to the upright/home position.  Each time you press the “saw down” button it provides a squirt of oil to the saw bar from a dedicated bar oil tank built into the grapple saw.  A specialized hydraulic rotator allows for 360 degree continuous rotation without worrying about tangling or breaking hydraulic hoses.  The GSR-42 Grapple Saw makes extensive use of high strength steel and incorporates industrial grade components to ensure excellent availability and a long service life.
